Hello and welcome to our first blog post for our brand new website.
Felbrigg Village Hall is a registered charity on the North Norfolk coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hall is primarily for the residents of Felbrigg and Metton but we also welcome the wider community too. The more the merrier we say!
Our main aim is to bring people together, to meet up with neighbours and friends. Some of us have lives that are so busy these days and others may not see a single person from one day to another. Therefore it is so important to put aside a little time to catch up with others, have a laugh and maybe share a worry with those we trust.
So we present the new Felbrigg Community Café 😍
The café will be opening on the first Saturday of the month from April. Having a regular meet up point and different things going on each month will be great for everyone. More info about what event will be held at the first get together, will be available soon over on our Events page.
A Summer Picnic, Harvest Get Together and Christmas Grotto are also in the calendar. We would love to know what events you would like to see in the future at the Community Café. All suggestions are welcome, we have already received a few requests and are in the throws of organising a popular one, a Tea Dance. Whether you already dance or need some tuition, love to people watch or just fancy a little company and a cuppa, let us know if you’re interested as that will really help us sort out the finer detail of the day.
We have a few ways you can do that, you can comment at the bottom of this blog post, send us a contact form or pop over to our Facebook page and leave a comment on the Tea Dance post. Dates and times etc. will be available soon, probably starting in May.
We look forward to seeing lots of people in the coming months as we develop this new meeting hub ❤️ Will you be coming?
